Suicidal thoughts and self-harm
If you are considering this program, you are most likely to be in a very distressed condition. Something will be causing this - something either from your past which you have not yet found a way to deal with, or something in your present real-life which is proving to be very painful for you. In either case, you are struggling and just don't know how to cope.
This program will really help you. It will help you to calm yourself down, clear your mind a little and allow you to begin to regain some control both over your own behaviour and more importantly, your life.
How can I say that this program will be able to do that when I don't know anything about your particular situation? Well, that's because I have worked with many people over the years who have been just as distressed as you now are and I know what will help you best right now - and it doesn't involve talking through either what painful things may have happened to you, or the current difficult life situations you may be in the middle of. In fact, you don't need to talk at all.
Your suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviour are symptoms of your distress. Once you start to deal with whatever is causing your distress, the symptoms will go away, and this program is designed to help this happen.
If you are serious about your suicidal intentions, although I think this program will help you, you should URGENTLY SEEK HELP FROM YOUR NEAREST MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.
No form of treatment can work for everyone and this program is no different. Having said that, in the program you will at least learn why you are thinking, feeling and behaving as you are and also what is most likely to be the cause. Your distress is most likely rooted in past events (even current-life recent events are in the past), and it is these which need to be treated - not by talking about them and being forced to remember and relive the experiences over and over again, but instead in a quiet, safe and controlled way.
The techniques you will be using in the treatment will help to calm you down these past distressing memories and allow you to regain control of areas in your life which are concerning you.
The program is in two parts. Firstly, you watch a thirty minute video in which I will not only describe how you are likely to feel and behave when suffering from this condition, but I will also explain how you are going to resolve the most probable cause in the second video.
Then in the second video which also last for around 30 minutes, you will be asked to close your eyes and listen to my voice as I run through several simple processes which you should find helpful. this video should be used at least three times with a week or so in between each use.
When re-using the treatment video, you can skip to around 6 minutes or so to find the beginning of he active treatment.
If you feel the program is helping, and you would like to use it more often, there is no harm in that.
Part one - understanding
Part two - active treatment
If you would like to discuss a particular aspect of either the program or your own specific situation, let me know and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Please tell me if this program has helped you, and tell your friends
Many thanks to Peter Dickson for allowing me to use his wonderful music not only as the background to the treatment videos, but also as I have worked with people on a one-on-one basis every day for the past twelve years. You can find all about Peter and his music on his website at
The particular music you will hear on these treatment videos is a track from 'Alone with you'
